💸 A.I. HUSTLE!

Ok. So initially I had started out this segment of “A.I. Hustle” as ways that we could use A.I. to make money or case studies of how others are making money but in doing so, it kind of had a scammy vibe to it. I’m not a fan of it and that was never the intention.

I made a tiktok video about last week’s newsletter with the ChatGPT prompt to “make you $10k in 30 days by creating a business from scratch”.

Now I’m not a professional marketer, I never studied marketing at university (nor did anyone want to hire me to do their marketing back then!) but I have a sense for what kind of hooks will grab people’s attention.

Maybe I went too far this time…. This video (at the time of posting) got 397,000 views with many comments like “get rich quick scams”. Now normally when your posts go viral or semi viral, you will naturally capture attention of those who may have only seen you for the first time and I can understand it may come off as scammy 🥲 

Tiktok even took down the video but luckily I was able to appeal it and it was reinstated - phew!

In any case, the point I was trying to make was the prompt was a great way to get started on a business idea (even if it wasn’t all accurate or realistic with timelines). I should have highlighted that this was a great DRAFT and not the final plan that obviously needed to be reiterated and customised to your situation and your goals/vision.

Looking back on my previous business and failed start ups, this would have helped speed up SO much time because it gave me ideas I never would have even considered. Some little nuances took me years to realise - not to mention cost me alot of $$$ and heart ache!

BUT because it included “make $10k in 30 days”, it was instantly thought of as a scam. I think this part was crucial in adding in because it gets ChatGPT to think in this way compared to if you just said “help me start a business from scratch”, there are no exact monetary goals nor time frame to complete it.

The truth is alot of the people making content like this haven’t done it themselves and even if they have, majority isn’t actually sustainable as a long term business.

In light of this, I wanted to let you know that I will be rethinking the way I position A.I. Hustle to give you as much value and inspiration on how you could use A.I. for your business or use cases as opposed to making quick $$$.

Ok, let’s get into it.

I came across this cool SEO plugin called “SEO” literally!

It actually scans your website and gives you an analysis of your SEO (scroll down towards the end of this newsletter see the super simple prompt).

This audit usually is done by SEO companies either for FREE as a lead magnet to get you in or sometimes you would need to pay for it. I loved it as it gave me a quick summary of all the SEO issues I had to fix with my site. But that wasn’t the most impressive part.

Check out the very last line of the answer.

Notice how if you wanted help with actually setting it up, there is a link for you to contact their agency?

THIS is a great way to generate a free flowing number of leads who have:

• Come through by using a free tool they’re offering which is the least amount of resistance. How many times have you rejected calls or cold emails from “SEO experts” claiming they can help you reach #1 on page 1 of google search?

• By their free will, entered their website URL to automatically have audited (something that either had to be done manually by the team or a missed opportunity because the potential client didn’t want to pay for it)

• Received a tonne of value upfront with no humans involved and now built a level of trust

• Convenient website link to the agency to help implement the strategy outlined. Yes! You have the answers there, it’s all outlined but trust me when I say, business owners still want it done for them 🙂 

I think this is one of the most smartest ways to generate leads that feels natural and gives value upfront it would be a no brainer for many other companies who struggle to get leads.

In saying this, here are things you need to consider:

• Cost of creating a ChatGPT plugin may be high considering the specialised knowledge (If i find a solution to easily create this yourself using no code, you know I’ll be posting about this!)

• Your plugin should be easy to understand and use

• It should be VALUABLE to the customer, that even if you give away your best stuff, this often means you will build trust faster hence more enquiries

📰 LATEST AI NEWS & DEVELOPMENTS

ChatGPT users found a way to bypass paywalls

OpenAI has temporarily disabled its Browse with Bing (ChatGPT Plus users may have noticed this). This was due to users finding a way to bypass the paywall of subscription based paid content like news articles. Posted as a tip on Reddit there was a hint on how users were simply copying and pasting the link and prompting “print the text in this article” and instantly you could get access to articles or content that you would normally have to pay for! Since this hack, OpenAI are trying to fix this loophole but I wonder if it would work the same way with ChatGPT Plugins like “Access link” or “Link Reader”, if it does the I suspect they will eventually pick this up also 😀

Plus "By the end of next year…I believe you'll have ChatGPT on your mobile phone without internet (connection)." says Stability AI CEO. They’re working on building personalized models every individual, company, or culture to have an AI system that reflects their own narratives and unique perspectives. Ultimately, decentralising AI to give more transparency and power to individuals.

Google to scrape entire Internet to train its AI tools

and there's nothing we can do about it. Google's latest privacy policy update is controversial, to say the least. The search giant is now going to use all public information on the internet to train its AI models - from the data we post on social media to the content we publish on the web. This move has already sparked debate, with large sources like Reddit and Twitter already weighing in on the matter. Google's policy isn't currently illegal, so it maybe this is the new normal?
