Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024: AI Everywhere
Last month we saw Apple’s “Apple Intelligence”, partnering with OpenAI.
This week Samsung Galaxy’s Unpacked event was all about Galaxy AI, partnering with Google.
New releases: Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy watches & first launch of Galaxy ring fitted out with AI
Here’s a quick rundown of new Galaxy AI features:
Everyday Use
Inbuilt AI assistant - Get more intelligent answers across your phone. Deeply integrated with Google apps like Gmail, Docs, Maps etc. For example, while watching Youtube, ask Google (Gemini) anything about the video without switching tabs
Circle to search - Ask for homework help or search for that product you circled while watching Tiktok (no switching tabs)
Live translation/Interpreter - Close deals in real time on your phone call without language barrier
Chat/Note Assist - Craft professional emails & text quickly
Creator’s AI Tools
Sketch to Image - Suggests image options based on quick sketches
GenAI edit - Fill backgrounds & unwanted objects disappear!
Epic AI photo editing - Zoom ability + auto enhanced photos
Slow mo - Allows you to capture photos between your videos
Health & Wellness
Track your health & get personalised advice using AI

AI is being used to create new and more sophisticated scams. Scammers are using AI to clone voices, personalize emails, and impersonate people.
Here's how to protect yourself:
Verify unexpected requests - Even if it sounds like someone you know, reach out directly to confirm.
Be cautious with emails - Don't open attachments or click links from unknown senders.
Guard against deepfakes - Avoid sharing compromising photos or videos online.
Secure your accounts - Use multi-factor authentication and monitor for suspicious activity.
Report scams - If you're a victim, inform the police immediately.
Remember: If something feels off, it probably is. Stay vigilant and trust your instincts!

Open Claude 3.5 Sonnet
Copy, modify, and paste the prompt below:
Design a user-friendly website or app that does [MainPurpose]. It should have features like [Feature1], [Feature2], and [Feature3].
Make sure users can easily [MainAction], with options to [Action1], [Action2], and [Action3]. Let them keep track of [ImportantThing].
The look should be clean and simple, using a [StyleDescription] style. Give color choices like [Color1] and [Color2]. Make sure it works well on both computers and phones.
Add helpful pop-up messages to keep users informed. Don't worry about saving information long-term - just for each visit
Review and modify your app as needed by asking Claude to adjust
When satisfied, hit Publish
