Google’s Gemini Ships 2 New Gems
Google’s Gemini just launched “Gems” + improved “Imagen 3”.
Custom Gems - Personalized AI Assistants
Google introduced "Gems" for Gemini Advanced, Business, and Enterprise users.
Think of these as “Custom GPTS” like in ChatGPT where you can:
Tailor your “Gems” to do specific tasks
Be a specialized expert in any field
Use premade ones for learning, brainstorming, career guide, coding
Imagen 3 - Improved Image Generation Model
Google's Imagen 3, now available to all Gemini users, looks to give much higher quality outputs with safety rails in place. Check out the comparison between the old vs new Imagen.
Prompt: Generate an image of glistening dewdrops clinging to a velvety red rose petal. Capture the intricate details of the water droplets, reflecting the morning sunlight, and the delicate veins of the petal.

Want to create text to videos using HotShot like in the previous section?
We’ve read through HotShot’s Prompting Guide so you don’t have to!
Here’s the simplest + fastest way to prompt effectively:
🧪 Formula 🧪
[Subject] + [Action] + [Environment]
For example:
Subject: A beautiful woman
Action: speaking on stage
Environment: at a Ted Talk
Style (optional): Cinematic
A beautiful woman speaking on stage at a Ted Talk, cinematic
Try these out yourself:
Cute elephant walking through the lush rainforest, Pixar style
A man in red sweatshirt, sitting on a subway next to the window
A bearded 20yo man wearing a blue shirt, baking cookies in the kitchen
HotShot Tips:
Loves creating videos of people, animals and nature
Not so hot with extreme motion
It automatically adds detail to your prompt to “Enhance it” so no need to super long prompts
If you have a long prompt, try turning off "Enhance Prompt"
