AI Work Trends - Employees Want AI

According to Microsoft & Linkedin’s 2024 Work Trend Index Annual Report, employees want AI but there is no clear guidance. Here are the key takeaways:

  1. AI Everywhere: 75% of workers already use AI at work (46% started less than 6 mo ago)

  2. Taking Initiative: 78% of workers bringing their own AI to work

  3. Time Saver: AI helps workers save time (90%), focus on important tasks (85%), boost creativity (84%), and enjoy work more (83%)

  4. Leader Confusion: 79% of bosses know AI is important, but 60% don’t have a plan to use it

  5. New Skills Needed: 66% of leaders say they wouldn’t hire someone without AI skills

  6. Not Enough Training: Only 25% of companies teach their workers how to use AI

  7. Super Users: Frequent AI users report big productivity boosts

  8. Supportive Workplaces: Workers thrive with AI when encouraged by bosses

  9. Changing Work: AI reduces time spent on emails, meetings, docs & more time on important work

  10. Future Changes: AI will create new job roles and challenges

Here is the #1 predictor of whether someone will be an AI power user or not:

  • 68% more likely to experiment with AI

  • Frequently pause to see if AI can help (+49%)

  • Persist if the first AI response isn’t perfect (+30%)

  • Research and try new prompts (+56%)

  • Start and end their day with AI (85%)

Tutorial: Quickly Create Mockups Using AI

Why spend $$$ on a product launch BEFORE you’ve tested if people actually want the product?

Here’s a quick way to mock up your designs to put on your website, sales page or social media without the physical product.

You can apply it on t-shirts, hats, candles, books etc. PLUS no need to hire a graphic designer for your mockups.

Today, we tested a free AI tool called Kittl (see our sample below).

  1. Create an account on Kittl

  2. Locate & click on Kittl AI

  3. Change the tool to AI Logo Generator

  1. Copy, edit, and paste the prompt, then click Generate Logo
    You can always write your own prompt

Create a [Design_Style] for [Company_Name], specializing in [Specialization]. The logo should convey [Brand_Values]. Use a [Font_Style] for the name and incorporate [Visual_Elements]. The colors [Color_Scheme] should symbolize [Symbolism].

  2. Drag to position your preferred design then viola!
